摘要

本文认为,作为通识教育学科的英语教学模式应建立在语言材料内容与学生未来专业相联系的原则基础上,通识教育学科教学的基本目标是培养学生阅读和理解与本专业相关的简单英语文本的技能。为实现这一目标,必须解决以下问题:确定教学内容,逐步分发语言材料,制定主要教学方法,组织学生在家的个人活动,包括个人阅读专业文献。这些组成部分应符合外语教学过程中严格的课堂专业方向的要求。
