It is investigated how ambient temperature, the length of the air-gap and the average value of current influence on inductance of the inductor and energy gathered in this element. Additionally, influence of the length of the air-gap in the core of the inductor, frequency and the duty cycle on characteristics of the buck converter is analysed.
