Nevertheless, the development of a support program platform requires a preliminary study; to identify the necessary factors and development guidelines based on literature review. This study aims to identify the needs and development of a mental health support portal for university students. A total of 67 articles were identified from Google Scholar database based on combination of keywords that refer to research theme. A qualitative approach and content analysis found that three main factor of virtual mental health support; pandemic situation, technological development, and changing of generation. Analysis showed that, there must be a virtual support program among students. While the design model is requiring as a development guideline. The discussion suggests the implications of study for educational institutions to provide mental health support portals. While the developer needs to use the standard set by a qualified agency. 摘要
