So for proper operation, reliable power supply is needed. In this paper fuzzy logic method is used for detection of fault and its classification. In this method, voltage and current at one end of the transmission line is used for fault detection and classification. This fault detection method is tested on IEEE-39 bus transmission system using MATLAB software.
