The feed line is terminated on a circular disc having a slant rectangular slit. Inverted L-shape strips are attached to the ground plane and protrude into the rectangular slot. The measured impedance bandwidth achieved by the antenna is 124% from 2.4 GHz to 10.2 GHz The measured bandwidth of circular polarization with axial ratio <; 3 dB is 40% (simulated - 48%) from 4.75 GHz to 7.1 GHz.
