The transmitter is optimized subject to an imposed safety limit for magnetic field exposure. Three cases are considered as follows: unconstrained, geometrically constrained and current constrained. Equations for determining design parameters for an optimal solenoid wireless power transmitter are found given either system size or current constraints.
