It is based on Basalt fiber composite as substrate and the conductive fabric as the radiating elements. Due to the good flexibility of antenna, it can adhere well to conformal or curved surface and also enable wearable application. The design composed of a rectangular patch with slot and modified ground plane with slots and defected ground structure (DGS) for better radiating performance. A rectangular slot was inserted to the rectangular patch to achieve dual band operation. The antenna is designed on substrate of Basalt fiber composite with thickness of 0.42mm and size of 24.62mm × 30.22mm.
