The design composed of a rectangular patch with slot and modified ground plane with slots and defected ground structure (DGS) for better radiating performance. A rectangular slot was inserted to the rectangular patch to achieve dual band operation. The antenna is designed on substrate of Basalt fiber composite with thickness of 0.42mm and size of 24.62mm × 30.22mm.
