The specific objectives were to understand the daily lives of these children and adolescents through their narratives; describe their daily lives and their needs and to explore how researchers can assist in the listening and communicating with these patients. The methodology is a literature review on the academic production of this topic in Brazil. Seven articles were analyzed.
