Operational requirements such as air draft restrictions and cargo operations can be complied with by applying a tilting Rotor Sail. Aspects related to tilting Rotor Sails and the first experiences from installations are described. The global shipping community faces enormous challenges in finding feasible and proven solutions to reduce their environmental impact and specifically fossil fuel related emissions.
