A novel single phase synchronization method for D-FACTS controller based on symmetrical components synthesis
Power Electronics (PE) converter based applications are becoming famous. For the cost, complexity and reliability points of view, distribution solutions are more easily acceptable. In the novel D-FACTS, single phase synchronization plays an important role in the distributed controller. A novel DDPARK-PLL is proposed which doesn't focus on orthogonal signal generation. The single phase input signal is considered as a three-phase signal whose two phases are set to zero constantly. The concept of positive sequence and negative sequence PARK transformation is promoted into single phase signal analysis. Self-decoupling is utilized instead of cross-decoupling in order to simplify the structure. Steady-state simulation/experimental results all verified the method. Transient simulation/experimental results show the robust of the proposed PLL.
