In this survey, several studies and research works that were introduced in the literature will be investigated, aided by the followed methodology and main concepts in addition to the main outcomes and conclusions. A comparison will be held between these studies based on different criteria & performance metrics. An evaluation that investigates the effect of using AM with cooperative diversity in wireless communication system performance in terms of SE and throughput aided with improvement values will be introduced.
