DG placement will definitely have an impact on performance of the grid. Introduction of nonconventional energy resources to the existing conventional grid will affect the system performance. In this paper proposing one algorithm to get optimal capacity and placing of various DG types. Initially system real and reactive power losses and each bus voltage are investigated by Backward and Forward Sweep (BW/FWS) approach. Then Gravitational Search Analysis (GSA) approach is used to investigate system parameters. Then these obtained parameters are validated with proposed algorithm having unity power factor condition. All these approaches will be applied on IEEE-33 and IEEE-69 buses.
