Taylor is among the principles, are active today and that there is a McDonaldized education system, which is revealed by the McDonaldization in education. Although it is systematic and scientific in the Classical Organization Theory, it ignores the human being. In terms of being similar to this understanding, McDonaldized education also ignores the ideas of the students. In Classical Organization Theory, people are expected to do the same job all the time. In the McDonaldized education system, it cause students to think the same. In this study it is determined that there is a similarity between the two concepts. The study focused on distance learning as an example of McDonaldized education. İn this study it was aimed to transform the education into the McDonaldized education system in general and the awareness of this transformation. The study McDonaldization is defined within the scope of Classical Organization Theory within the framework of Taylorism, Fayolism, Weberism which are the Classical Organization Theories of McDonaldization. Therefore, Neoclassical Theory, Modern Theory and Postmodern Theory are excluded from the scope of the study. McDonaldized education system has become more evident with the development of technology. Factors such as most of the resources in education being technological, modernization distance education affect the course participation of the students. Distance education is one of the most important factors for students to be passive. This situation causes teachers to remain passive.
