Determination of material parameters using video extensometry during tensile testing

This paper deals with an overview of non-contact measuring methods for measuring material stress. In the beginning, non-contact measuring methods such as video extensometry and the current state of use of these practice methods are described. The next part of the paper describes the methods of image processing, which are used in non-contact measuring methods of measuring the stress of the tested sample. Finally, the article describes a video extensometry algorithm to determine the basic parameters of the measured sample.
