Aiming at the problem of increasing workload of the monitoring center and the inconsistency between the physical label on site and logical label of network management system (NMS) caused by insufficient traditional label management, a label management system (LMS) is proposed in this paper. Based on the ID and friendly name of the equipment in NMS, the LMS generates a physical label with QR code and realizes automatic label printing based on the label printer SDK. Finally, the applications of LMS in operation and maintenance scenarios of optical transmission network is introduced.
