SMPTE, 82: 542–547, July 1973). The present paper gives the results from a long-term performance of the bleach-fixing baths with Gevacolor Print Films. Special attention was given to the desilvering and rejuvenation of the used blix, based on metallic replacement (steel-wool cartridges). In order to increase the efficiency of the cartridges and to avoid an excessive build-up of iron EDTA in the bleach-fixing bath, the technique of prereduction is applied.
