Influence of the Atmospheric Parameters and the Induced Perturbations by Masts in Wind Farm
Romania, in the last decade, utilization of renewable resources as the wind, solar, biomass, besides the water, became a public interest. Any new efficient power plant implemented, has an initial condition in the project realization, a database of the local environmental parameters. Present paper refers to the influence induced to the horizontal component of the wind velocity by the pole itself, combined with other components from the power plant. There is also analyzed the influence of the air parameters for correct estimation of the wind velocity distribution, as the first image of the efficiency of the future power plant. The environmental data were measured and stored over three years with masts of 70 m height, for covering a larger area from the interest zone. Firstly, are presented some aspects referring to the masts components and its installation, followed by an analysis of the effect of the air parameters in wind velocity estimation. The database consists of 12 parameters recorded at 10 minutes. An original method to structure the recorded data assures utilization of a smaller amount from the data-logger memory. Some aspects referring the numerical modeling, uncertainties, appreciation of the margins of error, conclusions, and references complete the present paper.
