This paper proposes a timing tracker for timing synchronization in the VPPM-VLC system. The proposed timing tracker is evolution of the early-late detection to the VPPM-VLC system by considering characteristics of the VPPM-VLC signaling in perspective on the timing tracker. This paper describes design results for a VPPM-VLC receiver with the proposed timing tracker, and presents behavioral simulation results for the verification of the proposed timing tracker. 摘要

可见光通信(VLC)有着广泛的应用前景。VLC在室内能源管理中具有通过光传输数据、实现空间安全和定位的特点,因此具有很大的吸引力。可变脉冲位置调制(VPPM)由于支持全调光范围且实现简单,特别适合于室内能源管理。提出了一种用于VPPM-VLC系统定时同步的定时跟踪器。该定时跟踪器从定时跟踪器的角度出发,考虑VPPM-VLC信令的特点,将早-晚检测技术发展到VPPM-VLC系统。本文描述了采用所提出的定时跟踪器的VPPM-VLC接收机的设计结果,并给出了行为仿真结果来验证所提出的定时跟踪器。仿真结果表明,所提出的VPPM-VLC定时跟踪器能够估计定时偏移,并通过缓冲控制对定时失配进行补偿。
