Ways to develop «soft skills» through interactive learning technologies at a technical university

Актуальность данной статьи обусловлена развитием современного общества и необходимостью формирования нового поколения будущих инженеров. Раскрыты сущность и значимость «мягких навыков» для профессиональной деятельности выпускников технических вузов. Отмечается прямая связь «мягких навыков» и универсальных компетенций, которые являются едиными для всех направлений подготовки в соответствии с уровнями образования. Определен набор «мягких навыков», активно влияющих на готовность будущих инженеров осуществлять самостоятельную трудовую деятельность. Предложены пути развития «мягких навыков» с помощью современных интерактивных технологий. Статья представляет интерес для преподавателей вузов, методистов, занимающихся изучением и разработкой педагогических технологий в профессиональном образовании. The relevance of the article is determined by the development of an up-to-date society and the need to form a new generation of engineers. The paper is focused on the concept and key features of soft skills for the graduates ’professional activity in a technical university. We have managed to find a direct connection between soft skills and universal competencies, which are the same across all training domains and educational levels. Besides, we have defined a set of soft skills that directly affects the future engineers’ readiness to engage independent professional activities. Additionally, we have suggested strategies for enhancing soft skills with the aid of advanced interactive technologies. The paper will be useful for university teachers, methodologists involved in the study and development of teaching technologies in the professional education.
