The core idea is that we derived the thermal network model of the IM. Based on this model, the identification of the motor temperature is obtained applying stator loss and rotor loss into the motor equivalent thermal network model. This work can realize the demand for the real-time temperature monitoring of IM worked in different circumstances. The theoretical analysis and experiment results validate the effectiveness and validity of the presented method in this paper.
