Performance analysis of MUSA with different spreading codes using ordered SIC methods
The rising demand on both mobile Internet and the Internet of Things (IoT) has a postures challenge on the requirements for 5G wireless communications. Looking forward to achieve the requirements of IoT that is not supported in the current systems, new access schemes are needed. Multi User Shared Access (MUSA) is suggested to be the non orthogonal multible access scheme that has the ability to support IoT for the next generation network. In this paper, a new type of codes called 5-ary code is used for spreading. The bit error rate performance analysis of an uplink MUSA system is studied for 5-ary codes and different types of spreading sequences with a short length. The analysis is also done while changing the ordering way to detect the users with Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) method.
