Onion has a high economic value and fluctuating prices so that domestic onion production needs to be improved, one of them with a presence of endophytic bacteria that act as plant growth promoting agent or Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB). Endophytic bacteria isolated from the root, leaves, and bulbs. In this research has been tested endophytic bacteria of onion plants from Garut regency which has PGPB factors such as able to dissolve phosphate, and produce HCN. The results obtained 251 isolates of endophytic bacteria. Based on the characterization results, the superior isolates capable of dissolving phosphate with an average diameter of 0.45 cm is isolate II.B.1D.3, and 11 isolates capable of producing high HCN. 摘要

洋葱(Allium cepa L.)是印度尼西亚主要的园艺商品之一,通常用作调味品和传统药物。洋葱经济价值高,价格波动大,国内洋葱生产有待提高,其中一种是植物促生长内生细菌或植物促生长细菌(plant growth promoting bacteria, PGPB)的存在。从根、叶和球茎中分离出来的内生细菌。本研究对产自Garut regency的洋葱内生细菌进行了检测,发现该内生细菌具有溶解磷酸盐、产生HCN等PGPB因子。结果获得内生细菌251株。根据表征结果,能够溶解磷酸盐的最佳分离株为II.B.1D,平均直径为0.45 cm。3株和11株能产生高HCN的分离株。这些分离物可以作为PGPB制剂,在促进植物生长和洋葱产量以及抑制病原体的生物防治方面发挥作用。关键词:PGPB,内生菌,洋葱,磷酸盐,HCN
