摘要

本文研究了基于元组剪枝搜索(Tuple Pruning Search, TPS)的分组分类算法在并行映射和流水线映射两种不同映射下的实现,以支持基于网络处理器(NP)的路由器的多媒体应用。使用Intel IXP2400 NP模拟器对性能进行了评估。结果表明,与元组空间搜索算法相比,TPS算法具有更好的分类率和更小的内存占用。基于TPS算法的并行映射比流水线映射具有更好的性能,更适合实现高速分组分类,支持多媒体应用。

Implementation of packet classification algorithm in NetworkProcessor based router to enhance multimedia applications
