This paper proposes a predictive model of a three phase inverter with passive RL load with load current as predicted variable & termed as Predictive Current Control(PCC). In the proposed PCC scheme Space Vector Modulation(SVM) technique is implemented for switching state selection of inverter for an assigned cost function in terms of reference & predicted current difference with most optimum value. Discretized forward Euler approximation is used to predict the load current.
