This study aims to identify farmers' perceptions of organic farming. The method in this study was conducted with a survey in the form of distributing questionnaires and research questionnaires to all organic farmers in West Sumatra. The sample in the study was taken based on the sample area (Purposive Area Sampling). The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive analysis. The results show that most farmers agree that organic farming can improve land fertility, easy to practice, and they will continue to pursue organic farming. While in terms of risk, farmers revealed that organic farming is difficult to market. However, when we look at the factors that motivate farmers in seeking organic farming are the concern for health, concern for the environment and government support. 摘要
西苏门答腊省是农业大区,有机农业发展潜力巨大。本研究旨在确定农民对有机农业的看法。本研究的方法是以发放问卷和研究问卷的形式对西苏门答腊所有有机农民进行调查。本研究的样本是基于样本面积(purpose area Sampling)进行的。本研究的数据分析技术是描述性分析。结果显示,大部分农户认同有机耕作能提高土地肥力,易于实践,并将继续追求有机耕作。而在风险方面,农民们透露有机农业很难推广。然而,当我们看到促使农民寻求有机农业的因素是对健康的关注,对环境的关注和政府的支持。最后一个是关于发展有机农业的障碍主要是由于气候变化。
