The Confucian culture represented by Confucius’ thought has a high degree of self-consistency and compatibility between its excellent spiritual connotation of “the society of great harmony” and the lofty ideal of communism. These self-consistency, and compatibility characteristics mainly include the compatibility between Confucius’ “the world is for all” and communist public ownership; the compatibility between Mencius, “rule of the people” and Marxist “individual ownership”; the compatibility between Confucian “ practice learning” and Marxist practice view; the compatibility between “sages,” “gentlemen” “ key minorities” and “communists” and the compatibility between Confucian rational spirit and Marxist “atheism” thought. 继续推进马克思主义中国化,必须进一步完善马克思主义同中国具体实际和中国优秀传统文化相结合的工作。以孔子思想为代表的儒家文化,其“大同社会”的优秀精神内涵与共产主义的崇高理想具有高度的自洽性和相容性。这些自洽性、相容性特征主要包括孔子的“天下为人人”与共产主义公有制的相容性;孟子“民治”与马克思主义“个人所有制”的契合性;儒家“实践学习”与马克思主义实践观的契合性;“贤者”、“君子”、“少数”、“共产主义者”的契合,儒家理性精神与马克思主义“无神论”思想的契合。深刻认识这两者的契合性,对于增强文化自信,促进和发展马克思主义在中国的发展,具有重要的现实意义。
