摘要

本文提出了一种采用内联网络测量技术的新型后台TCP数据传输机制ImTCP-bg。ImTCP-bg根据内联网络测量的结果设置发送端TCP拥塞窗口大小的上限,内联网络测量的是发送端主机和接收端主机之间网络路径的可用带宽。ImTCP-bg可以在不影响前台流量的情况下提供后台数据传输,而以前的方法不能从本质上避免网络拥塞。ImTCP-bg还采用了增强的基于rtt的机制,即使无法获得可靠的测量结果,ImTCP-bg也可以检测和解决网络拥塞。通过仿真实验研究了ImTCP-bg的性能,并从对前景流量的干扰程度和链路带宽利用率方面研究了ImTCP-bg的有效性
