Make me IEEE!

Student involvement in activities is the largest incentive for students to become involved with IEEE outside of academically or technically related areas. Awareness of other regional activities sparks creative ideas for events within a student branch or section. Examples of such activities may be Student – Professional Awareness Conference or a Student – Professional Awareness Venture. From these awareness conferences, students learn about how to assume more active roles within IEEE where they can utilize the information that they have learned related to Career Growth, Working, Professional Ethics and Social Responsibility, Self-Management, Engineers and Public Policy and the Importance of a Professional Society to the individual.
