In collaborative Grid environments, data and system consistency play a crucial role for the correct functioning of the system. In this paper we propose a novel event-based consistency model and discuss the implementation and integration of this model with Semantic Research Grid (SRG)-a collaborative system consisting of tools and services for supporting Cyberinfrastructure based scientific research.
