Optical control processes in terahertz quantum-cascade laser waveguides
An investigation of the optical control in the terahertz waveguide with quantum-cascade heterostructure is presented. Modulation in the waveguide is achieved by carrier plasma effect. In addition, we show an interaction of few cycle THz pulses with quantum cascade heterostructure.
