In this article, a desirable compressing method for fingerprint images is presented that is by means of fractals' specialties. That is, in addition to introducing of 6 basic families for making samples in fingerprint images and by using rotationally geometrical conversion - which is of stable characteristics of fractal images - the encrypting of appropriate parts is done and starts compressing these images. 摘要

目前应用最广泛的身份评估方法之一是基于指纹的身份识别。如今,在现代指纹识别方法中,各种指纹识别方法和策略变得常见和常用;但值得注意的一点是,将大量的指纹图像保存到数据库中,这在这个问题上是如此有效。本文提出了一种利用分形的特性对指纹图像进行压缩的方法。也就是说,除了引入指纹图像样本的6个基本族,并利用分形图像的稳定特征——旋转几何转换,完成了适当部分的加密,并开始压缩这些图像。与JPEG等其他常用方法相比,上述方法的结果有了相对的改善。
