What lies behind this is that IoT is a relatively new field and continues to develop at a very fast rate. This paper investigates and discusses the course system of IoT specialty, and compares the training programs and curriculum plans in numerous well-known colleges world-wide. On this foundation, a series of considerations and suggestions are proposed to construct the specialty course system for IoT. In addition, the IoT specialty of Hunan University is taking as an example, a unique course system that consists of a novel practice teaching system structure has been put into practical application.
