As a result, in this work, we presented hpNFS (Hierarchically Parallel Network File System), which is a hierarchical approach of pNFS to decrease the implementation costs and fulfill storage requirements for enterprise. This work is conducted under the ILM (Information Lifecycle Management), where hpNFS is one of the modules of ILM solution.
