INVESTIGAÇAO DA MEDIÇÃO DA RADIAÇÃO ESPALHADA EM EXAMES DE RAIOS-X EM AMBIENTE DE ROTINA DE UTI
The intensive care unit (ICU) is an area located within a hospital unit intended for patients who require 24-hour monitoring. Every day the radiology technician performs chest X-ray examinations, the most common of the radiographic examinations in the ICU environment, for monitoring the hospitalized patient. Objective To perform the measurement of the amount of scattered radiation that is generated during the routine ICU exams, using a TLD dosimeter for the measurements and with the recorded result, make the comparison of the effective monthly dose (E) allowed for the lightning technician X. Materials and Methods : The data collected were collected between January 15, 2019 and February 14, 2019, during the morning at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Public Hospital of Várzea Grande-MT. The materials used were: dosimeter (TLD), treadmill, pedestal and equipment of mobile x-ray apparatus brand SIEMENS POLIMOBIL PLUS, model No 10187800, Serial No 21339.
