Taking into account the history and development of travelogue as a literary-scientific genre, one of the key issues is the relationship between factography and fiction. Dealing with this relationship, the relationship to other genres is also taken into account. In the second part of the paper, Savannah Grace’s travelog I grew my boobs in China was analyzed, as an example of the narrative possibilities that the development of modern technologies offer, and show how the travelogue genre has adapted to the 21st century. In the end, we will conclude that the travelogue has found its place in the contemporary discourse and that it is a very lively genre, and that it represents a fertile ground for narrative production.
