More precisely, we used the Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) mechanism to split videos into multiple pieces, also offering multiple bit-rates. Such pieces are then streamed by a DASH client from a typical HTTP server through a CCN network. HTTP/CCN adapters are used to translate the HTTP requests to CCN interests and HTTP responses to CCN content objects.
