Análisis de las exportaciones de carne bovina paraguaya

The objective of this article is the analysis of beef exports from Paraguay during the 2005-2019 period, considering the development of Paraguayan bovine livestock and the dynamism that their sales abroad have achieved. The analysis is carried out through the gravity model of international trade and panel data technique. It was found that the variables GDP of Paraguay, GDP and GDP per capita of importing countries and distance, explain 49.7% of Paraguayan beef exports to the main importing countries. These results would indicate a potential for expansion for Paraguayan beef exports.
