Due to their high speed, heat is produced which breaks down the molecules in the atmosphere causing formation of ionized gas layer called as Plasma stealth. So, it is very challenging to detect hypersonic missiles but few vulnerabilities of hypersonic missiles make it possible for its detection. The Plasma Stealth itself can be used to detect the hypersonic missiles.
