Key management in wireless sensor networks is a corner stone service for many security services such as confidentiality and authentication. In this paper, a new key pre-distribution scheme based on Hash function is proposed, which extends the ideas of random key pre-distribution scheme. The scheme uses the one-way Hash function to preload the keys in the process of key pre-distribution, which efficiently hides part of the keys information stored in the nodes. The attacker can only obtain part of the key information of the captured nodes and cannot be used to compromise other links in the network using backward keys.
