Large-signal analysis and simulation of switching regulators
In this paper a general nonlinear continuous formulation procedure for large-signal analysis of switching DC-DC converters is presented. The model equations can be easily introduced into general purpose simulators resulting in good accuracy and small simulation time. The technique is applied to the modelling and analysis of the elementary buck, boost and buck-boost converters. A boost converter operating in constant frequency current-programmed mode has been used to illustrate the application of the method.<>
