The conventional ideas, concepts, and teaching methods of PE with specific features that have been formed over a long time can no longer facilitate students in mastering sports skills and improving their self-study capabilities. To increase the interest of students in PE classroom teaching, we adopted the literature review, experiments, logical analysis, mathematical statistics, questionnaire survey, and other methods based on interactive programmed teaching method in this study to perform experimental research on the teaching of volleyball smashing techniques in regular colleges and universities. Sixty students were selected from a specific college for case study, and the volleyball smashing skills were analyzed and evaluated. The results have verified that: Compared with conventional teaching methods, the interactive programned teaching method is more conducive to improving the technical skills of students and improving their capabilities to observe, analyze, and solve problems.
