The investigation aimed to study the effect of thirteen fertilization treatments i.e. control (0), N at a rate of 30 and 45 kg N /cut, P at a rate of 7.75 and 12.92 kg P 2 O 5 /cut and K at a rate of 16.67 kg K 2 O /cut and their combination on growth, fodder yield and its quality of two forage crops i.e. sudan grass var. Giza-2 and single hybrid sorghum \"Mabrok\" in sandy soil condition. The obtained results showed that Single hybrid sorghum \"Mabrok\" surpassed Sudan grass in plant fresh weight, protein percentage and fodder yield/feddan in both seasons. Application of 45 kg N + 12.92 kg P 2 O 5 + 16.67 kg K 2 O/cut gave the highest values of all studied characters as compared with the tested other fertilization treatments in both seasons. 摘要
