This paper investigates the optimal operation technology of thermal power unit auxiliary machine under deep peaking conditions. Firstly it summarizes the advantages and considerations of switching from dual auxiliary machines to single auxiliary machine operation. Then it designs protection optimization strategies, automatic optimization strategies, and low load stabilization and combustion control strategies to realize optimal operation and safety control of units. Finally it ensures the relevant protection interlocks and automatic regulation function properly when the single auxiliary unit trips.
