Rectangular patch antenna is used in this design. The two different substrates used for designing the antenna for UWB application are FR4 and Jeans fabric. Certain optimization techniques is introduced to obtain the entire range of UWB frequency band. It consist of 3 steps such as introducing a partial ground, slits and notch on both the antennas. Simulation is done with the help of a software, Ansoft HFSS.
