In this paper, the teapot surface was digitally measured with the non-contact digital technology, handheld 3D laser scanner to obtain a lot of point-cloud data. The reconstruction of the model was accomplished using computer-aided software such as Imageware and UG, and the output of entity modeling was achieved using a rapid prototyping machine.
