摘要

众所周知,在AWGN信道环境中,随着迭代次数和交织器尺寸的增加,turbo码具有更好的性能。然而,随着迭代次数和交织器大小的增加,迭代译码需要大量的延迟和计算量。因此,设计一个有效的准则来停止迭代过程,避免不必要的计算和解码延迟是很重要的。本文提出了一种新的turbo码译码停止准则。实验结果表明,与传统方案相比,所提出的迭代译码停止准则可以减少平均迭代译码次数,而误差性能的下降可以忽略不计

A new stopping criterion for turbo codes
It is well known the fact that turbo codes has better performance as the number of iteration and the interleaver size increases in the AWGN channel environment. However, as the number of iteration and the interleaver size are increased, it is required much delay and computation for iterative decoding. Therefore, it is important to devise an efficient criterion to stop the iteration process and prevent unnecessary computations and decoding delay.
