The effectiveness of school principals can be achieved by the synergy of the power of the internal and external stakeholders. In other words, it may be right to consider efficiency with a system approach. This study assesses teachers’ views regarding the provide solutions to factors limiting principals’ effectiveness, and provides recommendations regarding how to improve it. This research was designed as a case study, and qualitative research methods were used. The study group consists of 10 secondary school teachers from different branches working in Düzce in the 2019-2020 academic year. The data was gathered using semi-structured interview questions; the responses were subjected to content analysis. At the end of the research, the factors that teachers believed were limiting the effectiveness of school principals were collected under two subthemes: organizational and environmental obstacles. The last point was how to increase the effectiveness of a school principal. The three subthemes in this category are personal, organizational, and school environment remediation.
