The fuzzy predictive control algorithm, fuzzy self-tuning PID algorithm, hardware design, temperature control algorithm and embedded software design were optimized to control the decocting temperature of herbal cuisine. The experimental results show that the automatic decocting system based on ARM temperature control can work out an appropriate temperature control scheme according to the properties of herbal cuisine.
