It is a challenge for converting frequency spectrum resources that the receiver requirements are high dynamic, high sensitivity and high linearity. In this paper, a frequency conversion AGC(automatic gain control) based on frequency conversion of super heterodyne receiver is proposed. The AGC circuit is one of the key control circuits in the receiver module, and its function is to improve the dynamic range of the receiver. This paper analyzes the working principle of AGC circuit and the composition of the AGC module. And select the appropriate components to design the AGC.
