CloudIoT provides on demand storage, infrastructure and processing capability for the deployment of smart controls, e-health, smart cities, concurrent engineering applications, etc. So, due to the intrinsic nature and dynamic demand of resources, intelligent techniques need to be reviewed for above said applications in CloudIoT. Therefore, in this paper, intelligent load prediction techniques such as time-series forecasting techniques and machine learning have been reviewed in terms of load prediction by deliberating the state-of-the-art.
